The history of our
Home can best be described as built on “A vision and a Need”.
One cannot plan the future if you do not understand the past.
The first home
Braeside – at the corner of King and Eagle Streets in Preston opened
on June 1, 1943 and was described as the first of its kind in Canada and
only the fourth in North America.
